What’s happening now?
The Reserved Matters applications for detailed works of the first phase of the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration have now been approved by Barnet Council. These involve new homes on Brent Terrace, major improvements to Clitterhouse Playing Fields and Claremont Park, the first section of Brent Riverside Park and huge investment in transport infrastructure For more information click here.
The first phase of the scheme will:
- Renew and revive Clitterhouse Playing Fields and Claremont Park creating two beautiful community parks, as well as creating the first phase of Brent Riverside Park.
- Make major improvements to local roads and junctions for the benefit of drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.
- Prepare the ground for a new town centre on either side of the North Circular, linked by a landmark new Living Bridge.
